Who we are.
Andy Askew
Andrew Askew has over 20 years of experience as a leader in the enterprise software space, including senior leadership roles at IBM, CA Technologies and Broadcom.
Most recently, Andy spent over ten years leading CA Technologies’ mainframe solution sales and customer adoption functions across EMEA. Subsequent to the Broadcom acquisition of CA Technologies in 2018 Andy worked in the EMEA leadership team supporting the successful integration of CA and go to market plan.
Christopher Jarke
Christopher Jarke brings in more than 10 years of experience as CFO in two fast growing software-as-a-service (SaaS) companies. In this role he primarily focused on strategic -financial planning and fundraising to support the business as much as possible to make the companies develop from a promising startup to an established scaleup – bexio.com being one of them, where Christopher was responsible for the due diligence during the successful sale to die Mobiliar in 2018 and the later integration of bexio into the new parent company.
Prior to joining the startup/SaaS world in 2012, Christopher worked another more than 10 years in the corporate universe: He started his career in 1999 at Accenture where he initially worked in process optimization / system integration projects before he later changed to Accenture’s strategy division. As Manager Strategy at Accenture he “switched sites” and started a new position in 2008 as Associate Director Investment Banking Strategy at Macquarie’s branch in Zurich.
Dieter Kölbl
Dieter Kölbl is responsible for the Project Delivery at LzLabs. He has more than 20 years of experience in IBM mainframe modernization market. With his strong software development background, he combines both, technical and complex project management expertise. Before joining LzLabs Dieter spent almost 6 years developing & leading the T-Systems zFuture Mainframe modernization brand. In this role he consulted many notable enterprise organizations cross industry, from automotive over public to banking & insurance.
Frank Mang
Frank Mang built a 30-year career with Accenture (1990-2020). As technology division lead, he managed a USD1-billion unit with more than 3500 employees across the DACH region. He also led the European Nearshore development center network and the EUR100-million global technology business for a German global insurance group. Frank served in Accenture’s Europe, Africa and Latin America technology board and was a lecturer for software project management at Technical University of Munich, where he earned a degree in computer science.
Jan Jaeger
Jan Jaeger was the co-inventor of Hercules, the mainframe emulation hardware. He has been programming on Unix systems since 1981, and IBM mainframes since 1984 for clients in the financial, oil, and airlines industries. Jan has extensive experience in the fields of systems programming, security, and information risk management. He has more than 30 years of experience working in large organizations, including Accenture, BT, Shell, ING Bank, IBM, and Ansett Airlines of Australia and a proven track record of delivering projects successfully by being able to translate very complex technical issues into practical business applications.
Kristine Duyck
As a senior people development lead and coach, Kristine is passionate about attracting talent and helping people grow.
She has a track record in designing learning programs and engagement initiatives with focus on continuous improvement and authentic leadership. As a certified coach she builds connection and trust to help people become their best possible self.
Prior to obtaining a role in the HR field, Kristine built up a large agile software development organization and managed several global business transformation projects in the insurance and travel industry. Over a decade of hands-on project delivery shaped her approach to leading others and provided her with a wealth of experience in the collaboration area.
She started her career as a project manager in system integration and process optimization at Accenture.
Originally from Belgium, Kristine has lived in Switzerland for almost two decades.
Lance Borvansky
Lance is responsible for the development department at LzLabs. In his role, he is responsible for delivering working software to our solutions team and our customers. The development department works closely with delivery, marketing, support, sales and our customers.
Nick Hampson
Nick is responsible for the portfolio and product management function at LzLabs. In his role he will connect the dots between Development, Delivery, Sales, and Marketing and drive a customer focussed outcomes.
Nick worked in the midrange software industry for over 20 years. Nick has worked with teams all over the world in the areas of solution delivery, training, consulting, and pre-sales. Nick is skilled in UX design, design thinking, agile and lean development, product management, and digital transformation, as well as psychology and neuroscience relating to product leadership.
Thilo Rockmann
Thilo Rockmann has more than 20 years of experience in the information and communications technology industry. Thilo has served as president and CEO, managing director, group systems director, and technology consultant with many notable companies, including Accenture, Sun Microsystems, Easynet (BSkyB), and JME Ventures. He holds an MSc in physics from the University of Hamburg, an MBA from University of Wales in Cardiff, and a certification in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors in London.
Thomas Münz
Thomas Müenz manages LzLabs’ Head of Practise and is responsible for Practise, project office & in the areas of product implementation, testing, and project management. Prior to joining LzLabs in 2018, Thomas spent over 6 years at SYS Softwaresysteme GmbH as General Manager. Before that, he was the head of IT and development in the same company for 2 years. He is a business information scientist and holds a diploma from the Academy for Data Processing in Böblingen
Tobias Braun
Tobias Braun is responsible for the Technology Consulting Services Division at LzLabs. With over 10 years of history in mainframe workload modernisation at IBM, PKS and LzLabs, Tobias combines a broad technical know-how with strategic thinking and thus realises modernisation strategies together with companies across all industries.
